Lite-Works: Festival Stage Audio and PA for Bugjam 2012 Bugjam is the original and best Volkswagon festival, 2012 is the 26th year of the festival, held at Santapod Race Way in Northants and attracting thousands of VW enthusiasts for a weekend of everything VW.  Along with a huge line up of entertainment from comedy acts, DJ’s, nightclubs and live music. Lite-Works are tasked with looking after the live audio for the Live Stage hosting acts ranging from the amateurs trying to win ‘Bugjams got talent’ to local bands, through to  tribute bands and headline touring bands, this year the highlight is an unplugged set from Ocean Colour scene. The front of House PA system for the live festival stage consists of our Void acoustics line array,  employing two hangs of 6 cabinets of Void Arcline 6 small format line array (one left, one right) and 6 of our Void Stasys X Subwoofers (in a central cluster) to provide coverage of the 5 thousand capacity audience area. System processing handled via Lab.Gruppen Lake LM26 and the PLM’s built in Lake DSP.  Powered by QSC Power Light 3 PL380 (Arcline 6) and Lab.Gruppen PLM14000 (Stasys X) amplifiers for a total of 30,000 watts of amplification to cover the 4 to 5 thousand strong audience     FoH mixing is done with our Allen & Heath iLive T112 digital mixing desk. The stage monitoring system can cater for up to 9 individual mixes and uses our Turbosound NuQ15 monitor wedges, with Xilica DSP and QSC Power Light 3 Amplification all controlled from our Yamaha LS9-32 digital mixer.  Providing concert quality monitoring for all the acts over the weekend of live music. All in all a successful weekend and the first time in memory that the Bugjam Live Stage has run on time!
